We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and pro-active HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team at our Northampton office.
The HR Administrator is accountable to provide administrative support and assistance to employees, managers and the HR function.
Office based role Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Salary - Circa. £29,000
**Duties**:

- Maintain and update accurate employee records via our Human Resources Information System (HRIS - Dayforce) and other databases.
- Administer the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, contracts of employment, induction, probationary periods, pay reviews, bonuses, and much more.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR & L&D related queries; with focus on supporting line managers.
- Support the scheduling of training courses to include organising dates/times and venues.
- Positively facilitate responses and have a ‘contact resolution’ approach to HR matters involving HR stakeholders where required.
- Ensure HR practices are in line with company policies, record retention, right to works checks and GDPR compliance.
- Support and liaise with HR Business Partners & L&D where necessary.
- Ad-hoc HR & L&D Projects and or other ad hoc duties.
- Support the HR & L&D teams with various administrative tasks including preparing reports etc.
- Perform any other duties as required, in line with the overall job purpose and the needs of the business.

**Person Specification**:

- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident & outgoing personality
- Excellent proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MS teams with a high level of general IT competence.
- Experience in a similar role within HR
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Attention to detail
- Experience in the use of a HR Information System
