The post holder will help plan and implement activities appropriate to residents’ needs and requests and assist the Home Manager to organise fundraising events.
We would welcome you to encourage other staff members, relatives and friends to participate in the care centers activities, and you would accompany service users, where possible, to off-site activities which may occasionally take place outside normal working hours.As a co-ordinator your day will be varied. Developing meaningful occupational therapies, delivering engaging sessions and supporting events and outings with the residents to ensure that their quality of life is enhanced.
You will be responsible for creating, developing and delivering social and recreational activities on a group and individual basis.
Must also have care experience.
You will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate examples of work and activities you have undertaken.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
