Advantage Resourcing are working with a large well known Engineering company who designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation and are seeking a Test Engineer for their County Durham, site
You will be managing daily test cell activities. Executing test requests provided by Combustion and Emissions engineering. Writing and executing tests for mechanical validation of engine hardware.

**Job Summary**
This position requires an engineer with experience in a testing environment (preferably Internal Combustion Engine testing) to provide on-site support and act as the interface between the engineers and the test facility to ensure maximum utilization of thetest cell, execute tests and validate data quality.
This position also involves the specification, design, implementation, validation and support of test systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the interfacing engineer between the client and test facility.
- Support test facility with instrumentation and data acquisition setup and troubleshooting.
- Execute tests provided by Combustion Performance and Product Validation engineering.
- Validate data quality during and after test before sharing with the engineers.
- Contributes effectively toward team goals.
- Work with materials readiness team to manage engine spare parts and provide necessary procedures for hardware swaps (in conjunction with the clients component owners and design team).

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
