We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for an Legal Practice Manager

Purpose of the role
- To combine the responsibilities of a finance manager and business manager. You will play a major part in assisting with the strategic planning and implementation of the local authority's legal team’s business objectives as well as providing support to theclient departments. You will be responsible for having an all-encompassing view of the business to ensure clients receive seamless service.
- To work closely with the Head of Legal services to provide leadership and direction to the legal services team. You will ensure that performance is monitored and an efficient level of service is provided to the lawyers and client departments.
- You will oversee and ensure adequate activity and accounting control systems. You will also work closely with the Head of Legal services to ensure that legal spend stays within budget and you will be responsible for monitoring internal and external spendand monitoring the spend on individual external contracts, ensuring that the Council achieves best value in the procurement of legal services.
- You will be required to provide high quality activity and financial information to department heads and assist in all activity and finance related discussions. Further duties will include creating usage projections and reports.
