Climate17 is working alongside an independent, pan-European sustainability consultancy who specialise in the commercial real estate sector.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Associate Director or Director to lead the UK Climate Resilience team for our client. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile blue-chip companies across the investment managementand commercial real estate sector.

**Responsibilities**
- Growing a best-in class consulting practice across existing and emerging solutions, including net zero carbon and broader climate resilience strategy, as appropriate.
- Leading consulting service delivery across UK and Pan-European clients through effective interface with key stakeholders across the business.
- Leadership of the UK Climate Resilience consultancy team.
- Leading major bids, key sales, and account development opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services.
- Profit and loss accountability for the team with responsibility for sustainable revenue and margin growth in line with business targets.
- Reporting to the Board on key objectives, metrics, progress, and opportunities.
- Leading the development and sharing of best practice to support international regions.

**Requirements**:

- A passion for furthering the ESG agenda with a proven level of deep industry experience in energy and net zero carbon.
- Solid understanding of the real estate investment management industry.
- Deep experience of successfully running major consulting programmes, with full P&L accountability, using well recognised industry standards and disciplines.
- Highly quantitative with demonstrable evidence of running profitable services or lines of business.
- Highly competent in defining and reporting on key objectives and performance indicators.
- Critical thinking to uncover and synthesise key improvement opportunities to drive change across the business.
- Experience of using a range of software platforms within the Sustainability Sector.
- Good understanding of software and information technology.
- Experience of using the Microsoft Office Suite to a professional standard.
- Sustainability or industry speaker.
- Author of published works on sustainability disciplines.
- Experience across different countries and cultures.
