Our client hasan exciting opportunity for a **DevOps Engineer** to join their team in **London, Docklands.** You will join them on a **full time, permanent basis**, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + excellent benefits ( travel allowance, bonus scheme, pension, health insurance ).**

The Company is the pioneering data centre colocation provider, an owner operator of Tier III data centres, connectivity and managed ICT solutions to over 2000 market leading corporations around the world. In the UK their Docklands data centre campus facilitatesthe majority of the London Internet Exchange’s (LINX) capacity, meaning that they support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making their Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.

**The DevOps Engineer role overview**:
Theyare looking for a dynamic DevOps engineer with an excellent understanding of IT systems, processes and middleware to join their busy and friendly on-site IT team.

You will be responsible for the analysis, design, deployment and hand-over to the end users for any solutions developed as well as maintenance or enhancements of those systems\solutions.

The company is going through a major digital transformation. It is a great time to join the IT department, take part in developing and implementation of new solutions and work on a multitude of ongoing projects in an exciting IT environment.

**Key tasks of theirDevOps Engineer**:

- Ensuring these solutions meet their Control and Security requirements and help improve the stability of their platform, yet still allowing a higher volume of changes and activity
- Ensuring automation of process and data transfers to support productivity.
- Configuration and integration of business systems.
- Designing and management of the current and future middleware solution\s.
- Working with the Database administrator to help design and support any electronic data transformation tools and processes.
- Working with stakeholders to understand and implement change management.
- Maintaining existing API’s especially REST API’s and working on the development of new enhancements or maintenance of existing API’s.
- End to end ownership of all Middleware solutions.
- Maintaining knowledge repositories and other supporting documentation.
- Building MS SQL SSIS packages for automation as well as maintaining existing packages.
- Developing reports\dashboards on either MS SQL, Power BI or other reporting tools.

**Essential requirements they’re looking for in theirDevOps Engineer**:

- Experience with successfully implementation monitoring and operational data analysis solutions as well as automation and middleware solutions.
- Strong experience of delivering API, Performance and UI testing.
- Experience of Middleware solutions
- Experience using REST APIs
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience of.Net and ASP.NET development
- SQL Query language
- Power BI knowledge
