**The role**
Our client is the leading trade supplier to the sign and graphics industry, offering one of the largest material supply services in the UK. Due to an internal promotion and a retirement, a position has arisen within their Technical Department to join theirsmall team of Software Developers who develop, maintain and support their in-house CRM, ERP and Stock management systems.
As the company is split across two sites within Barnard Castle, a UK driving license is preferred. You will be working in Barnard Castle 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday) but once you’ve settled into the role, there may be an opportunity to work on some projectsfrom home.
Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience in a software development role and the role will suit someone who enjoys lots of variety and is willing to do a little bit of technical support as well as development (although the majority of your time willbe in development).
The team uses the following technologies, so the more you’re already familiar with, the better but full training will be given:

- .Net (C# and VB)
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft Office 365
- .Net MAUI (aka Xamarin.Forms)
- REST API
- Azure App Service
- Power BI
- Microsoft Dynamics 365

You will be initially working directly with their Senior Software Developer whilst you’re gaining familiarity with their bespoke systems and the way they work. In addition, some off-site training courses may be necessary to level up your knowledge of the specifictechnologies they use.
