Repairs Coordinator

Seven Resourcing is seeking a Repairs Coordinator to work in Bristol. This role is full-time, temporary and is paying £17.19 per hour.
**Working arrangements**:
The work arrangement is hybrid, but it will be up to the manager to advise when team members are able to work from home. This is necessary to ensure that all staff are fully trained and that business needs are met.
The hours of work are based on a rota set by line managers, as we need to cover business requirements between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Some training will be conducted remotely via Teams, so we will need someone who requires mínimal training and is capable of hitting the ground running.
The maternity cover will initially be for one year but could potentially be extended, as we are undergoing changes that may create new positions within the service. Therefore, we are looking for someone interested in a permanent role.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Receive and respond to customer/stakeholder enquiries, in line with council policies and procedures always providing excellent customer service.
- To accurately raise reported repairs and prioritise in line with agreed timescales, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure that repair requests are allocated, planned, and scheduled effectively to maximise the use of resources and completed “right first time”.
- Proactively monitor the progression of allocated jobs throughout the day and communicate with operatives, surveyors, and customers to ensure the timely completion of work.
- Ensure operatives have acceptably completed repairs using their mobile devices and give feedback to trade managers and supervisors if there are any issues. Provide information, advice and guidance to customers, contractors & colleagues who have repair enquiries.
- Make outbound contact with customers/stakeholders as required make enquiries on behalf of customers/stakeholders and arrange appointments.
- To effectively and appropriately, liaise with contractors. Assist in the day-to-day delivery of frontline customer services to colleagues, members of the public, elected members, contractors and other directorate customers in accordance with the council’s core values and the key performance indicators.
**Applicant Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a property management, repairs coordination, or facilities management role is highly desirable.
- **Organisational Skills**: Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
