**Role Overview**

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in Worthing/Lancing/Crawley.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manning reception
- Answering telephone
- Visitor management
- Car park management
- Key management
- Access card management
- Building patrols - internal and external
- Building lockdown - closing of windows, switching off lights
- Emptying confidential waste bins
- Check calls
- Completion of the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) throughout the day
- Reporting any faults around the building to the helpdesk/engineers
- Covering emergency calls through the helpdesk line between 18.00 - 08.00
- N.B. Core tasks are as above, although this list is not exhaustive

**About You**:

- SIA licence - Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
- Experience working within a Security team and manning reception, assisting customers and clients
- Experience working within office environments / using office equipment
- Experience of undertaking routine & repetitive activities accurately & within set timescales
- Full Driving licence
- Computer literate with experience in Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) & other systems
- Ability to work effectively on your own as well as in a team
- Flexibility - A willingness to be flexible to support changing requirements of clients
- Reliable & Punctual
- Self-motivated
- Customer care - strong customer focus & a desire to deliver a quality service
- Must be able to respond appropriately to the needs of the client in a pleasant & polite manner
- Effective communicator - orally & in writing
- Ability to learn new tasks & grow in the role
- Good organisational skills
- Able to maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Able to challenge processes & seek out better ways of working
- Able to follow clear instructions
- Able to work well under pressure
