**Kitchen Porter - All Bar One - Edinburgh Airport**

An excellent opportunity to join our team in a fast paced environment. All Bar One Edinburgh Airport is a high volume Bar & Restaurant serving Food and Drink all day.

This role would suit someone looking for a first job in a kitchen environment, or someone with relevant experience who is looking for an opportunity to work and progress in an extremely busy and rewarding environment.

As we are in the Airport, **Opening hours are 4am - 9pm** and shift times can vary so please check travel arrangement prior to applying.

Due to Airport Security reasons, a **Full 5 year background check** will be carried out and a **Clean Criminal Record** is essential.

**A valid form of I.D. is essential (Passport or UK Drivers Licence)**

The main roles and responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter include:

- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Ensuring the chefs have a constant supply of clean pots, crockery and prepped food.
- Preparing desserts and food to company specifications
- Assisting the chefs to ensure a smooth service
- Ensure all relevant food safety procedures are followed and all due diligence is completed
- Opening and closing down the kitchen, ensuring it is fully prepared for service and cleaned down fully at the end of the day.
- Accept deliveries, ensuring food is rotated and accepted in a good condition.
- Any other duties required by the Chef and Head Chef

- A great standard of punctuality

Shift Patterns are usually 6am-3pm or 12pm-9pm (close)

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
