Our client is an established employment business which has been trading within Commercial and Office recruitment for many years. They have a strong network of branches across the UK and believe in autonomy and allowing consultants and management to workin their own ways. The management team in Glasgow is highly experienced and they have an excellent track record within the local market.

An opportunity has arisen for a Managing Consultant to join the business to head up the call centre team. They are looking for a highly experienced recruitment consultant who is looking to take their either first steps into a managerial role or a sidewaysstep into a company offering excellent career scope and progression.

The role will include leading by example, will be interesting and varied and will include:

- Leading and motivating a small team.
- Managing a portfolio of clients and running a desk.
- Learning how to conduct appraisals and one to one meetings.
- Advertising and marketing roles creatively across multiple media outlets.
- Interviewing and assessing applicants to determine suitability for roles.
- Visiting client premises to gain an in-depth understanding of requirements.
- Selling the services of the agency over the telephone and face to face.
- Business administration.

This is a consultative role and will require an ambitious, energetic, and motivated individual who is looking for a long-term move and eventually take on a Divisional or Branch Management role.

You will have a minimum of 12 months’ recruitment consultancy experience and a full UK driving license is essential for this role.
