Night Baker

**Overview**

Night shift working independently to prepare baked goods for the day ahead.

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, doughnuts and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other baking tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.

**Skills**
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial bakery environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and food safety standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A creative mindset with the ability to innovate and develop new baked goods.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a bakery setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
