The home is set around a former coaching inn, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including dementia care for 39 residents. **_ Competencies for _**Kitchen Assistant** - Team player - Experience working in a previous Kitchen role - Ability to work under pressure - Good time management - Good written and oral communication skills - A willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our residents - A positive and enthusiastic outlook **_ Day to Day Responsibilities for _**Kitchen Assistant** Assisting in preparing, cooking and serving meals to our residents Assist in washing and cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces Acting in line with health & safety and food hygiene guidelines Promoting our resident's choice, dignity and independence and all times **_ Essential Requirements for _**Kitchen Assistant** A good reason or experience that has drawn you to working in a care setting. Live within 20 minutes of the Home. **_ Preferred Requirements for _**Kitchen Assistant** One years' experience in a similar role. One years' experience working in a residential or nursing home. Hold a relevant level 2 or 3 qualification (or willing to work towards this).
