This is a new full-time post and a joint appointment by Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (HUH). The Trust is looking to appoint a Consultant in Neurology with a Special Interest in Movement Disorders with a commitment to high quality patient care, innovative service models, delivery of performance targets, and excellence in education/training. The post will be 5.25 PAs based on site at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This post has been developed due to increasing demand of neurological services and is aimed at maintaining and developing excellence in neurological services in the North-East London locality. The current PAs for this position have been covered by a Locum Consultant for the past 20 months, which has demonstrated the need to provide a permanent increase in the Neurological services at Homerton. There will be 4.25 PAs of direct clinical care and 1 PA allocated for supporting professional activities. As a senior employee of the trust, you will work in close co-operation with and support other clinical, medical, professional and managerial colleagues in providing safe and high-quality care to patients.
