We are delighted to be working in close partnership with a growing care provider who provide care for the Elderly in luxury Nursing Homes across the South of England. They are expanding their portfolio and as such require a Regional Manager to look aftera portfolio of 5-7 homes.

**Role: Regional Manager
**Hours: Full time**
**Salary: £80k per annum + car + bonus**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To provide effective and consistent leadership to Management teams in order to ensure high quality service delivery and business outcomes within safe and effective environments.
- To oversee and ensure the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Services, and support the maintenance of high levels of occupancy.
- To oversee and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times, along with any contractual requirements and individual KPIs as set by the business
- To accurately represent the Business vision, strategy and values and ensure that Managers do the same.
- To shape and develop the performance of Managers, within scope, using the Competency Framework to ensure that all Managers are meeting expectations in terms of performance and behaviour.
- Identifying and communicating opportunities for new business and business development/growth.
- To be a good role model for all employees, being aspirational, optimistic, approachable and providing a regular presence and visibility as well as being consistent in all actions and decisions.
- To oversee and monitor clear standards of care across all Services in line with companies vision and values.
- To ensure that Services adequately and appropriately recruit; comprehensively ‘onboard’, support and welcome new employees and that Probationary reviews are effective, leading to timely and successful outcomes during probationary periods.
- To recruit, ‘onboard’, support and develop own direct reports, including the provision of effective appraisals and supervision in line with policy.
- To lead and monitor a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- To ensure that employees are mentored effectively to succeed in their roles.
- To monitor and ensure complaints and suggestions are positively actioned and dealt with correctly, within the prescribed timescales.
- To monitor the Services’ budgets and Key Performance Indicators
- To ensure that the Managers execute rota planning effectively and in a timely way, within the staffing ratios and meet the needs of the Service Users and do not use Agency without following appropriate channels.
- To ensure that the Services comply with all statutory obligations and relevant legislation (e.g. environmental health, health and safety).
**Experience Required**
You will have excellent knowledge of:
- Quality Compliance
- Financial Performance
- Clinical / Care Standards
- Environmental and H&S support
- HR Legislation and Processes
**Person Specification**:
- Experience in multisite Elderly Care Services.
- Extensive experience managing nursing homes.
- Excellent commercial knowledge within the healthcare sector.
- Thorough CQC knowledge and history.
- Based in Hertfordshire, East London or Essex and be able to travel to other sites across the south.
