Machine Minder

**Due to internal promotions, we are currently looking for Machine Minders for our site in Bromborough.**

**Shift Pattern**:

- ** 5 out of 6 days**:

- ** 7:00 am to 15:30 pm**:

- ** Voluntary Overtime at premium rates**

The purpose of the Machine Minder role is to ensure that all equipment on the department is operated correctly and efficiently, whilst carrying out appropriate frontline maintenance to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Setting up and maintaining All line machinery & computer equipment at the beginning of the shift and throughout
- Ensuring the machinery is adjusted to the required setting for each specific job on the plan
- Keeping areas stocked with consumables
- Endeavour to keep waste levels to an absolute minimum and continuously work to reduce these levels.
- Overseeing department activity, by ensuring all aspects of the area are running at the correct pace.
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas to be at a high standard at all times.
- Attend daily meetings when required or in the absence of the Line Leader

**You Will Need to**:

- be a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal, prioritisation and communication skills
- have demonstrable experience of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
- be a team player
- be a good mechanical background
- have positive attitude
- have the ability to work with mínimal supervision
