**Overview**
Reporting to the Manager this is a full-time permanent role. You will be required to work as part of a small team, in a busy warehouse involved in the stock movement of all goods.

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.A FLT licence is required.

Due to the demand of the department, you will be required to work to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail, and be physically fit and comfortable with lifting.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

This is not an exhaustive list of duties but gives an outline of the role and responsibilities of this position.

**Main Duties**
- Liaise with Production Manager to meet manufacturing stock demands
- Recording and checking incoming and outgoing materials, which includes goods damaged in transit
- Cross check bale numbers and weights against all bale deliveries
- Weigh all bales
- Complete goods received note with weight, P numbers and submit to shipping department
- Organising and marking the stocks to easily access the goods when required i.e. location and P numbers
- Stocktaking of existing goods in warehouse
- Safe loading and unloading materials from wagons/containers with use of fork lift truck
- Check export sheet every Friday to ensure all goods have been dispatched and correct fibre delivered
- Shrink wrap pallets
- Working out of a teagle opening, operating crane with correct use of harness
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and other related areas
- Planning and monitoring storage, delivery and dispatch of orders
- Processing and moving stock
- Keeping stock control systems up to date
- Planning future capacity requirements
- Producing delivery notes for relevant production departments and copies for shipping department

**Health & Safety**
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Wear relevant personal protective equipment as required
- Remove general waste from building
- Receive delivery of LPG gas and store safely
- General Warehouse Duties
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Carry out any other warehousing duty as assigned by the Manager
- Any other suitable tasks the business feels are appropriate.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Good written and spoken English
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
- FLT licence Required

**PREFERRED SKILLS**

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential

Good communication skills

Able to work as part of a small team

Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail

Be calm under pressure

Must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting

Previous experience of using a stock management system would be an advantage
