Heathcare Assistant

**Radiology Healthcare Assistant | Imaging | HCA | Band 2/3 depending on experience | Slough| Full Time, No Nights.**
Spi re Thames Valley Hospital is looking for a Radiology Healthcare Assistant to join our busy department on a full-time basis. To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination.

**Spire Thames Valley located in Slough provides the highest standard of private healthcare to patients from Berkshire and the surrounding areas. The hospital has a 38 bedded ward with 2 theatres, Endoscopy suite and 10 outpatient consultation rooms. Our modern hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team onsite.**
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Helping with administrative duties such booking patient appointments.
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

**Who we're looking for**:

- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Cannulation experience desirable but not essential
