We are seeking a Patient Services Lead to join our friendly, forward thinking team at Price's Mill Surgery, located in the beautiful Cotswold town of Nailsworth.

You will be overseeing and managing the day to day organisation and running of the reception/prescription clerk team and managing the clinical rota system, thereby assisting with the smooth running of the practice.

You will be organised and confident, have a friendly and approachable manner and work effectively under pressure.

This is a new role for the right person to make their own.

The role is for 30-34 hours a week, exact hours negotiable.

Main duties of the job

The Patient Services Lead will work closely with the Practice and Patient Services Manager to lead and develop our reception/prescriptions clerk team. You will provide day to day supervision and line management of the team, ensuring it's smooth running and delivery of a quality service to our patients.

You will efficiently administer the clinical rota and appointment system, ensuring appointment availability and staffing within safe and approved levels.

Person Specification

**Qualifications**:
Essential

GSCE Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics

Experience

Essential

Experience in managing time critical workload and prioritising

Experience in supervising/managing staff

Ability to work as a team member and autonomously

Ability to follow policy and procedure

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Strong IT skills

Desirable

Experience of rota management

Experience of working in a fast moving, confidential and sensitive environment

Experience of working in the NHS/Primary Care
