Job Title: Studio Coordinator

Reporting to: Studio Manager

Working hours/ pattern: 5:00 am to 5:00 pm BST / 7 days fortnight

Job description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Studio coordinator to join our TV Shopping Channel based in Feltham, with easy train access and free parking.

The role is an exciting one - working in TJC’s live TV studio floor environment, taking full responsibility for products to be sold on air, working with presenters, special guests and the production team to help drive sales.

This is an ideal role for applicants with retail knowledge, experienced in merchandising products in store on the shop floor and providing great customer service.

The Studio coordinator’s daily duties:
- Prepare products and props, ensuring they are spotlessly displayed at their best to drive customer interest and sales
- Ensure the correct product goes to air at the right time
- Co-ordinate with producers, directors, presenters and special guests for a smooth show
- Meet health and safety requirements at all times
- Maintain a strict policy on behavior and noise when on the studio floor
- Look after presenters, special guests and models on set - ensure they understand noise policy, their microphones and positioning right for the producers, deal with any questions and make them feel at ease
- Assist producers, director and presenters with pre-recorded footage and live product shots
- Liaise with technical team to ensure continuity in output and raise any business concerns
- Anticipate and resolve any likely studio problems before they occur
- Clear products away at the end of each presenter shift

The successful Studio coordinator will have
- Previous Live Studio experience preferred
- Retail shop floor experience preferred
- Educated to Degree level standard or equivalent desirable
- Knowledge of PC based packages and keyboard skills (ability to use MS
- Office proficiently)
- Excellent communication skills including effective questioning and
- listening
- Polite, friendly and assertive when necessary
- Ability to work individually and within a team environment
- Resourceful, adaptable and flexible in their problem solving approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
