**Contract**

Our client is an automotive luxury brand, with a global reputation for producing luxury performance vehicles. Working with some of the most iconic designs using modern engineering this company is one of a kind and their attention to detail is second to none.

The Electrical technician will join the Electronic System and Controls department responsible for the supply of our client luxury vehicles' system hardware, including switchgear, connection, infotainment, and electrical distribution systems (EDS).

Our client is looking for a great team player who can work within a multi-functional team and can take the initiative, while throughout each programme phase, oversee crucial rework tasks and test activities while giving the team ongoing feedback.

**Duties of the Electrical Technician
- Manufacturing prototype harnesses and reworking harnesses
- Writing up instructions for harness/reworks
- Electrical Troubleshooting and establishing root cause
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure electrical modifications conform to build requirements/specifications
- Provide functional prototype harnesses to support development and build phases
- Create harness documentation to track prototype designs to internal / customer requirements
- Maintain rework tools and test equipment
- Generate test reports during testing, providing an accurate record of events to the EDS team

**Ideal Experience of the Electrical Technician:
- Experience working as an Electrical Technician or similar - ideally within the automotive / motorsport industry
- Awareness of electronic/electrical/EDS finishing
- Automotive EDS knowledge and experience for complete wire harness design process
- Familiar with wiring rework and supporting development stages
- Ability to read design drawings and generate bill of materials
- Ability to read and understand schematics/wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with recognized automotive electrical diagnostic tools
- Experience depinning and wire crimping
