Westmorland School are very proud of Wood campus, based in Leyland which is their own secondary site catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech, Language, and Communication needs. The school provides education for up to 40 pupils aged 11 to 16 on a purpose built site catering for a full curriculum that also includes a farm, land based studies and Forest school. This is on an exceptional rural site, which is allows pupils to progress in a relaxing and nurturing environment. We ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience, with us, that is tailored to their needs, could you be the one to support our pupils on this exciting journey?

- Previous experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils and with working with families in challenging circumstances and expertise to support and resolve difficulties
- Experience of multi-agency work with an understanding of legislation, policies and guidance around safeguarding and child protection
- Ideally - NVQ 3 in Care/Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
