We require a well organised, enthusiastic and well
- connected Activities and wellbeing coordinator for our friendly care home in Broxburn

16 - 20 hours/week, Monday - Friday working, flexible but around 10am to 3pm. (there will be an expectation to work when some organised events are happening)

You will be responsible for the following:

- To assist in the development and implementation of Meaningful Activities, throughout the home.
- To identify and promote each Resident’s level of independence with a variety of activities tailored to their needs and wishes.
- To consult with Residents/Relatives on establishing an Activity Diary to identify specific aims and objectives for that Resident.
- To connect with the local community, media and relatives
- To ensure records of all activities are kept up to date
- To assist in producing a weekly activities programme which reflects identified needs and preferences of Residents.
- To organise and take part in regular residents meetings, promoting the opportunity for residents to chair the meetings themselves.
- To participate in producing a general Yearly Planner for all activities, such as pre-booking of entertainers, trips, restaurants/clubs etc.
- To build up strong links with the local community and organise various fundraising events for the home

You will need to be fun loving, upbeat, and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Broxburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
