We are looking for committed and enthusiastic early years professionals. Our successful QfA scheme helps childcare providers to provide high quality childcare and provides reassurance to parents and carers that childcare providers continually seek to make improvements to their service. If you have recent experience of working in the childcare and early years sector and would like to use your skills and knowledge to help leaders, managers, and practitioners to enhance their setting, we would like to hear from you. We need someone with excellent organisational skills, a can-do approach to working, and the confidence to make timely decisions and respond to our members’ QfA questions.

**Duties**:

- Support the promotion of the QfA tool at a national and local level working with the Head of Training, Learning and Development
- Promote, recruit, provide training and monitor sufficient peripatetic quality advisors and verifiers to meet the demands and needs of the scheme
- To work with settings and induct and deliver advisory meetings to support the identification of needs and quality practice
- Provide yearly standardisation and validate work submitted by quality verifiers
- Assign quality advisors/ and verifiers to participating providers in a timely manner
- Arrange and co-ordinate standardisation and internal moderation with advisors and verifiers
- Maintain and monitor systems to ensure take up and delivery of the scheme in a timely manner. Including monitoring of take up so that the scheme is manageable, and support is available to providers to achieve and maintain the highest standards
- Work with Admin and the finance department ensuring invoices are distributed and remittances are received prior to distribution of QfA guidance packs, assessments and certificates
- Work closely with the Welsh, Training and Foundation Learning leads to ensure a wide range of advice and services are offered to settings undertaking the QfA tool
- Liaise regularly with the Head of Training, Learning and Development
- Comply with Early Years Wales policies and procedures
- Provide support and feedback to quality verifiers on completion of the tool
- Arrange and co-ordinate standardisation and internal moderation with advisors and verifiers

Pay: From £9,762.48 per year

Expected hours: 14 per week
