Logistics Administrator’s Core Duties
- Managing Logistics: Planning, and liaising with clients & operations
- Confirming delivery & collection details with customers (timings / contacts / packaging)
- Liaising with & booking couriers or planning deliveries
- Completing logístical paperwork
- Submitting details (weights/measures/serial numbers) for international transport
- Selecting and working with freight carriers
- Updating calendars and staff
- Helping General Manager/ Finance Manager with admin
- Dealing with the landlord & maintenance companies
- Keeping logs of Safety Training/PPE supplies/Assessments/Drills
- Processing client payments and turning quotes into agreements

Logistics Administrator’s Key Skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks calmly
- Experience involving office management/logistics
- Flexible approach and can take ownership of tasks
- Evidence of practical problem solving & prioritisation
- Demonstrable track record of teamwork and loyalty to previous employers
- Good communication skills
- Good IT skills - use search engines, databases, spreadsheets, prepare letters & update a shared Calendar
- Evidence of commercial thinking or responsibility (managing costs) would be beneficial
- Genuine interest in Technology Hardware would be desirable (core product types, sizes, and uses)
- Previous experience dealing with both sales & operational personnel would be an advantage
