Progress Chaser

At Hi-Tech Plastics we are seeking a Progress Chaser / Production Planner to join our busy and fast-moving team based in Blackburn. You will work in a modern, progressive and expanding company alongside an excellent team in an environment with scope to progressfurther within the company. Hi-Tech Plastics runs 24hrs, 5 days per week and this role is 16 hours per week over 4 days: 10.00 am - 2.00 pm.

As a Progress Chaser / Production Planner you will:

- Progress purchase orders through the production cycle.
- Set up Excel spreadsheets and input relevant information.
- Liaise with Quality, Production and packing departments to ensure components are manufactured, checked and packed as scheduled.
- Ensure that all components are ready for despatch in accordance with the orders.

To be a successful Progress Chaser / Production Planner you will have the following skills and experience:

- IT literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheets
- Experience In a manufacturing environment with production planning.

Hi-Tech Plastics design and manufacture injection moulding tools / components for the pharmaceutical, automotive, electronic and industrial markets. We also offer a tool repair and maintenance service. Hi-Tech Plastics runs 27 injection machines supplyingvarious industries and we use most thermoplastic materials.

In return you will receive a salary of £14.00 per hour depending on experience.
