We are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work in a Primary School in Conwy. The school requires Primary School Teaching Assistants who can support classes in the Foundation Phase and in Keystage 2 and we are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around Conwy who are experienced in any of these fields.

The school itself provides education for over 200 hundred pupils and its facilities and grounds are the envy of schools across the local education authority. Previous Teaching Assistants have provided feedback on how supportive and welcoming the staff is and how quickly they were made to feel part of the team.

- **Pay: £69.20 to £75 per day**:

- **Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 8.40am - 3.30pm**

**The role: What you’ll be doing as a Primary School Teaching Assistant**
- Supporting learners who require extra assistance under the supervision of the Class Teacher
- Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
- Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs where needed
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist learners at break time with their lunch
- Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- Work in accordance with the school’s behaviour management policies
- At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience working with learners with ALN would be beneficial
- Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
