Hgv Driving Roles

**We are looking for several HGV Drivers for a number of Cat C day and roles. Driving duties will be collection and delivery work of palletised goods to businesses and homes.**
Pallet network experience using pallet trucks and vehicle-mounted tail-lifts is preferred but not essential. Good geographical knowledge of the North East of England and safely navigating the region is essential.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with a Category C entitlement.
- Have no more than 3 licence penalty points.
- Have a UK Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have a current Driver Qualification (CPC) Card.
- Have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate good customer-facing skills.
**Remuneration package**:
Overtime for all roles is payable after 50hrs in a week where 5 days are worked; 40hrs in a week where 4 days are worked, 30hrs in a week where 3 days are worked, etc.
- CAT C - Day Role: Annual salary = £34,936. Weekly salary = £670.00. Day Rate = £134.00. Overtime = £13.40 /hr.
20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.
Breaks are paid.
- ADR: £12.00 daily shift allowance paid when any ADR goods are transported by a suitably qualified driver.
**Other benefits**:
- One Driver CPC: Course costs, VAT and upload fees may be claimed each calendar year.
- Driver Medicals: Medicals for HGV licence renewals can be arranged and paid for by the Company or may be claimed as an expense.
- Full uniform and PPE provided.
- Career development opportunities
Cat C to C+E Licence Upgrade: Upon completion of 6 months of employment and a good record, the Company will pay for HGV driver training and test fees to upgrade to Cat C+E licence. Part of these fees may be reclaimed if employment ends within 12 months of the test date.
Opportunities to undertake train-the-trainer courses, provide driver training/assessments are available for experienced time-served drivers.
