Objective

A Custodial Administrator provides administrative support as part of the custodial team who service clients comprising fund managers, financial advisers and investors. A Custodial Administrator is involved with the coordination and implementation of officeprocedures and will be delegated responsibility for looking after various clients and specific projects and/or tasks. As experience is gained and where circumstances dictate, a Custodial Administrator may be required to oversee and supervise the work of newjoiners and junior staff.

The role entails completion of a number of important processes from data entry, where accuracy is of utmost importance, to the running of anti-money laundering (AML) checks and following data protection procedures and other regulatory requirements. Mostwork involves data entry and processing, written and oral communication, and typing. Custodial Administrators must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Administrator Key Responsibilities

Custodial Administrators should:

- Assist with systems updates including the CRM and AML solution;
- Work closely with Fund Managers to action all new and existing custodial agreements;
- Create daily investor spreadsheets from the CRM system to distribute to Fund Managers;
- Respond to complaints or escalate as appropriate and where possible resolve any issues;
- Complete daily cash reconciliations for each Fund/Company;
- Complete other ad-hoc functions as requested;
- Report to and assist the Custodial Manager as and when required;
- Photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues;
- Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
- Liaise with staff in the custodial team, other departments and with external contacts;
- Use the CRM system to maintain internal databases and reconcile investment information; and train and supervise junior staff as required and delegate work as required.

The above list is indicative only and not exhaustive. Custodial Administrators will be expected to perform all such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the role. In discussion with the Custodial Manager, the Executive Director (Operations)may amend these responsibilities from time to time in line with changing organisational strategy, structure and roles.

Custodial Administrators should be:

- Manage their own time well in order to complete allocated tasks on time and to a high quality;
- Take responsibility for more complex problems and maintain focus until a viable solution can be found.

Custodial Administrators would preferably have:

- Attained a graduate degree;
- Relevant experience with data entry, CRM systems, customer service and administration in financial services;
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office, in particular, MS Excel) ;
- Good sense of how the business works; and
- Be aware of how the role contributes to the success of the business.
