Tax Investigations Manager (Corporate or Personal Tax) - Membership Body - Milton Keynes (with 3 days per week WFH) - Circa £62,000-£65,000

Robert Walters are hiring for an Tax Investigations Manager for a leading membership body for accountants and tax advisors.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in their Milton Keynes office, but supporting 3 days per week working from home / remote working.

The position comes with a salary of circa £60k-£65k plus a great benefits package.

The Tax Investigations Manager is tasked with conducting investigations into tax work carried out by this organisation's members, resulting out of disputes or complaints - This could be corporate tax, personal tax, general tax, depending on your specificbackground and experience

The Manager will speak to both parties, collect information and documentation, and conduct an investigation into the issue, which could either be technical or ethical in nature.

Once the investigation is complete the Manager will write a report on the case along with a recommendation of any further action.

This is a fairly unique role for an tax professional and therefore would suit someone working in an accountancy or tax firm who wants a new, interesting, varied role.

But the other big selling point is that the role offers a fantastic work-life balance - Regular 9am-5.15pm hours, no need to work long hours ever, ability to work from home 3 days per week - As such this is a great opportunity for someone looking to improvetheir work-life balance.

The company are looking for a qualified accountant or tax advisor (CTA / ACA / ACCA / ICAS etc) with experience working in practice in a tax role at a managerial level or above.
The company are happy to consider applicants either from a corporate tax / business tax background, or from a personal tax background, or from individuals with mixed tax experience - The portfolio of work you would be given would be matched to where your experiencelies.
