Our client who specialises in medical device equipment is currently looking for a Territory Manager to join their team and sell an exciting portfolio of Gastroenterologyand Respiratory devices across the North.

Focused on developing clinically advanced surgical instruments and solutions, our client is passionate aboutimproving patient care in healthcare worldwide. **The role**
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for the direct sales and promotion of our client’s market-leading surgical devices covering their Gastroenterology and Respiratory product portfolio, as well as building strong relationships with both clinicaland non-clinical stakeholders. You’ll also be providing demonstrations of the equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with managers and providing after-sales support.
- Responsibilities include: _
- Focusing on account management of existing customers whilst growing market share
- Understanding of the product portfolio
- Presenting at workshops, exhibitions, and educational meetings
- Delivering post-sales training and support for new and existing customers
- Producing accurate and regular forecasts of sales opportunities
- Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities
- Identifying key stakeholders for the product portfolio
- Responding to customer issues
- Attending medical conferences, workshops and exhibitions and representing the company
- Managing sales activities through the CRM system
**The requirements**
- You’ll have 3-5 years of sales experience within medical devices, ideally focused on surgical sales, as well as_
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable
- A proven background of success within a target-driven environment
- Experience within a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry
- Self-motivated, innovative, and entrepreneurial
- Strong sales track record and evidence of increasing the value of a territory
- Demonstrate robust product knowledge and selling skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Focus on personal continuous improvement and development
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently
- Able to travel across the territory (including North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Northumberland, & East Yorkshire)
- This Territory Manager role is field-based, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis._
