**Hours: The Nursery operates from 8.00am to 6.00pm, involving some shift working.**
**Salary: Tier 8 Spot - £18,329.00 per annum full time equivalent**
**Location: Dartford**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Nurse to join our busy Bright Beginnings team at our Dartford Campus.
Specific responsibilities of the Nursery Nurse role include but are not exclusive to:
Ensure the children’s welfare is at the forefront of everything we do, keeping the children’s records updated correctly including safeguarding information and medical requirements.
Promoting a health and safety conscious workplace, considering the wellbeing and safety of the children at the forefront of every action.
Create a fun and stimulating learning environment by planning and implementing creative activities to stimulate and develop the children whilst encouraging participation from all.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the principles and practice of Childcare and First Aid.
Assist with mealtimes, both helping to serve and supporting the children with table manners.
Support the wider Nursery team in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment (including both toilet and kitchen areas).
Assist the Deputy Nursery Manager with the maintenance of financial records with regards to Nursery fees, ordering supplies (toiletries etc.) and maintaining inventory within a budget.
Any other duties as directed by your manager.
