Group Head of IT Service Delivery

Having successfully completed the transformation of our end user experience to a new digital IT Operating model we are now looking to further our colleague and customer experience through enhancing our service delivery.
Reporting into the Group CTO, the Group Head of IT Service Delivery will have 16 direct reports and will be responsible for leading and guiding the group through the next phase of development, to stretch and develop our capabilities and team to deliver thebest possible service to our internal and external customers while working with the team to continually transform the technology capability of our organisation.
You will be instrumental in our next phase of development and be responsible for the ongoing transformation and effective running of IT Services for the Group which employs 72,000 staff and serves 7000 IT users. Working with colleagues across the group youwill prepare our business for the next technology change and adapt our processes and services to accommodate the transformation.
You will lead the IT Operations teams across the group with overall responsibility for their performance and our overall IT Service Performance. You will offer support and guidance to our other regional colleagues globally driving best practice and technologies.
You will be responsible to the Group CTO in developing a plan to consolidate processes, performance and reporting, and plan to take our IT Services into the future to support the OCS Group business strategies. Analysing technology industry and market trendsyou will assess the potential opportunity and impact to the enterprise, adapting our Service Plan as required.
You will maintain, develop, and deploy OCS Group IT Operations standards, processes and governance using industry standard methodologies and frameworks. You will oversee IT Service changes, communications and supports projects and programmes working closelywith our Programme office.
You will maintain and keep current a clear set of documentation of the Group IT Operations landscape, identifying risk and prioritising areas for transformation. Your clear IT Service vision will translate to an executable roadmap with key milestones and reporting.
**Responsibilities will include**:
Prepare and present any enhancements to the IT Operational vision and roadmap that supports the IT strategy and beyond, establishing governance, peer review and reporting.
Actively champion and communicate the IT Service vision and roadmap to all stakeholders in a manner that is inclusive, appropriate for the intended audiences and readily comprehensible.
Maintain an active understanding of key business drivers, major strategic initiatives, and changes in the external market to ensure the architectural vision and roadmap remains relevant and adds value to Company as a whole.
Be a key player providing advice and consultancy to customers and colleagues about the IT operating model
Develop IT Operational Service standards, principles and reporting that reflect a full and thorough understanding of the business direction of OCS.
Champion internal and external customer service and take responsibility for the effective performance of our IT Services to our customers.
**Qualifications and Experience required**:
- Proven experience working in a global complex business/IT Operational environment in a business leadership position. Experience of working in a cross-functional, complex service environment with management of senior level business stakeholders advantageous.
- Managing remote teams in multiple countries, ensuring IT governance and policy are being applied and maintained.
- Global experience putting in place IT Operational Service standards, practices, and methods with a good understanding of the relevance of the business change agenda when designing, implementing, and communicating.
- A career history showing progression within IT Operational roles within a challenging, changeable environment and a need for synergy.
- In depth knowledge of technology solutions, trends, and techniques with a clear understanding of what future technology can mean for business.
- Proven budget management capability with experience managing £5M/annum operating budgets desirable.
- Experience of enabling the delivery of business change / development through facilitation of solutions, within large scale, complex programmes across multiple stakeholders.
