A fantastic new opportunity working as a full time Housing Support Officer based in Oldham. The 12-month fixed term contract has a salary between £22,000 and £24,000. This role is based on and off site.

**Client Details**

My client provides quality homes and support services within the community, supporting the most vulnerable. They provide support services to tenants by giving appropriate advice and assistance to help them live independently.

**Description**

**The key responsibilities of a Housing Support Officer will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, with a sensitive and confidential nature
- Assess service user needs and provide support for complex needs
- Regular visits to tenant sites, effectively ensuring their tenancy and property conditions are satisfactory
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure tenants maximise their income and maintain regular and consistent payments of their rent and utilities
- Assist customers with moving from temporary or short-term accommodation provided
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure service users can access community and national services
- Maintain accurate and up to date records

**Profile**

**The successfulHousing Support Officer must possess the following skill set and experience;**
- Background in Housing
- Ability to provide person centred support to customers
- Able to provide excellent customer service
- Background of working with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to analyse situations, identify the key issues and establish and evaluate alternative options
- Good organisation skills
- To have flexibility with your work and to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently on tasks
- Have a full drivers licence and access to vehicle
