**Job Summary**:
We are looking to recruit Event SIA Security Officers to join our current team. You will be part of a team ensuring that some of the UK and the world's biggest events run in a safe, secure way, ensuring that everyone has a first-class experience.

You'll be part of a delivery team responsible for conducting searches, monitoring crowds, and responding to security incidents. You'll be working at some of the world's largest events, often with thousands of people, so you'll need your experience as an SIA Door Supervisor licensed security professional to identify situations before they happen and respond accordingly to those that do. Equally important is your ability to deliver a great customer experience to help create a unique atmosphere.

This is a varied role that will provide great memories: you could be based in the event space, outside with the fans, or helping to protect world-famous athletes and staff. Friendly, professional, and approachable, you'll use common sense to help people and ensure the events run smoothly.

**Duties May Include**
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks, ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Searching visitors on entry to venues
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
- Monitoring visitors, crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take appropriate action as necessary
- Dealing with visitor/crowd disruptions
- Securing licenced and hospitality areas

**Requirements**:

- valid SIA license.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly if needed
- Must pass a 5 year background check

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
