**Summary of the Role**

Carnbrooke is a family-owned business who currently operate a modern 2500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall retail business in Lisburn and a retail store in Dromore. Our state-of-the-art facilities including kitchen and factory production are based in Lisburn. We are currently seeking to recruit a Hygiene Operative for our factory in Lisburn. This is a key role in our business as you will be responsible for the cleaning of the factory floor and equipment, so they are clean and food safe, ready for the next day's production.

**Main Duties**
- Carry out cleaning of all factory and machinery schedules in accordance with operating instructions.
- Carry out cleaning using correct COSHH procedures.
- Carry out cleaning tasks using appropriate amount of resources to minimise wastage
- Report any machinery or factory issues to supervisor to facilitate timely repairs.
- Cleaning to a high standard with a close focus on detail
- Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training.
- Completion of relevant paperwork

**Person Specification**
- Cleaning in a factory environment is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working in a raw meat food production environment
- Cleaning work is varied and physically demanding; you also need to maintain a good focus level throughout the shift.
- On the job training will be provided and you must be able to demonstrate a level of literacy and numeracy in order that you are able to understand the training, operating instructions and COSHH instructions.
- Able to work in a chilled environment (PPE Provided)

**Job Types**: Full-Time/ Part-Time, Permanent

Monday to Friday,

Hours are flexible and can be completed within the time frame of 11am-10pm. Part-time hours can be within the time frame of 3pm-10pm. Hours will be discussed at point of interview.

**Salary**: Up To £12.00 Per Hour
