Vehicle Valeter

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Valeter for our client based in Lichfield, close to Trent Valley Train Station. You must have your own driving licence for this role.

**Salary**: £19,179

**Day to Day Duties**
- To complete a series of checks on the vehicle condition, as set out on inspection sheet.
- Ensuring that there is no damage, and that the mileage status is acceptable versus the service requirement.
- To ensure that the basic service checks are carried out on the vehicles, including oil and fluid levels, window screen checks and the tread of the tyres are to the required depth and pressure.
- To identify concerns re. roadworthiness of vehicles and to report any issues to nonrevenue to ensure effective fleet utilisation and claims management.
- To wear correct personal protective equipment provided whilst using chemicals.
- Have an awareness of levels of stock being used to valet and inform appropriate people when this requires reordering.
- To assist the Company with the movement of fleet across the UK including deliveries and collections of vehicles in line with business needs.

**Essential Skills**
- Ideally demonstrable experience in a similar valeting role
- Hold a current Valid Driving Licence
- Ideally experience of driving different makes and models of vehicles including prestige
- General knowledge of vehicle makes models and controls
- Basic knowledge of car maintenance

**Desirable Experience**

Previous experience of working as a Valeter would be desirable.
