**The Role**

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work side-by-side with skilled teachers and therapists to support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Each day, you’ll help children build confidence, develop communication skills, and engage positively with learning.

In this varied, classroom-based role, you will:

- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with autism, communication needs, or sensory differences
- Encourage focus and participation through structured routines and visual supports
- Adapt classroom tasks to suit individual learning needs
- Use creative, therapeutic, or sensory approaches to help pupils manage emotions and stay engaged
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to implement and review tailored learning strategies

**The School**

This specialist setting supports children with autism, speech and language needs, and sensory processing difficulties. The environment is calm, structured, and deeply inclusive. Staff work collaboratively with therapists and families to ensure every child makes meaningful progress—socially, emotionally, and academically.

**Hours and Commitment**
- Start date: September 2025
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm
- Full-time and part-time roles considered
- Long-term temporary position, with the potential to become permanent
