**Wellbeing Service Coordinator (Part-time, 20 months fixed term - ongoing)**

**Hours: 30 hours per week (some working from home optional)**

**Salary: £26,000 pro rata**

**Reports To**:The** **General Manager**

**Job Overview**: This is a new role to help launch and coordinate the specialist Wellbeing service in our Charity for visually impaired and blind people. The service will consist of therapy sessions and a matching scheme for volunteers and our members.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assisting with the planning and dealing with the administration of the service
- Recruiting volunteers for the matching scheme
- Helping to publicise and promote the service
- Matching and booking in volunteers for accessible tasks or activities with our members
- Managing confidential information and dealing with the booking of clients for therapy
- Promoting our volunteering opportunities through a variety of channels
- Being the first port of call for all Wellbeing service queries
- Keeping the database/s accurate with information
- Conducting regular check-in calls and updates
- Being creative with new ways to improve the service

Soft skills - Friendly, conversational, helpful and flexible to meet the needs of the charity service users/ members

Communication - a positive and helpful attitude that presents well whether verbal or written. Being able to adapt tone and content when dealing with different people

Initiative - Having ideas for new or better ways to provide support and making them happen

Collaboration - finding ways to work with other organisations or individuals to build the Charity’s service

Problem-solving - adaptable and responsive to unexpected issues and be creative in overcoming challenges

Organisation - Able to prioritise and deal with a variety of tasks

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 20 months

**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
