**This is a full-time job role (40 hours per week) to include every other weekend.**

**Shift times: 8:00-20:00, 8:00-14:00, 14:00-20:00**

**Position**:Team Leader - Days

**Responsible to**:Care Manager

Purpose of position
- To support the Manager in all aspects of the Home’s management, including taking temporary charge during the absence of the Manager or Deputy.
- Administer Medication
- Liaise with Professionals; i.e. GP's, District Nurse, SALT etc.
- Ensure Health and Well-being of all residents
- Teaching by example to help train junior members of the care staff in all aspects of their work in the home.
- To plan implement and supervise the provision of quality of care, in conjunction with Service Users.
- To ensure service users retain their dignity and individuality.
- To be involved in the general activities of the Care Home.
- To maintain a safe and secure environment for service users, staff members and visitors.

**Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications**

Required:
**1.**Minimum 1 year experience of Senior Care

**2.** Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant client group.

**3.**Ability to communicate at all levels.

**4.**Team Player.

**5.**Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.

**6.**Satisfactory Police check and check against the POVA list.

**7.**N/SVQ Level 3 in Care.

**8.**Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines.

Pay: £12.64 per hour
