We have a vacancy for a Stores Manager.

Responsibilities of the role: (not exhaustive)
- Create Purchase Orders
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain an efficient layout for easy accessibility of materials.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Issue materials and equipment to operatives.
- Keep detailed records of stock levels, deliveries, and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand project timelines and material requirements.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report on inventory status to management.

Skills / Experience needed:

- Proven experience as a Storeman or similar role in a electrical contracting environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using inventory management software.
- Knowledge of electrical components, materials, and equipment.
- knowledge of materials used in the electrical industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
