As our **Head of Finance (Leasing)**,you will lead the Bibby Leasing Finance function ensuring the optimal systems and control environment, whilst supporting the Leasing Managing Director in the delivery of the desired financial performance.

**Your responsibilities as our Head of Finance (Leasing) will include**:

- Owning, producing and interpreting financial information and analytics along with delivering resulting actions from the MI created
- Owning Bibby Leasing accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
- Liaising with Funders and provision of information including drawdown of funds when required
- Proactively overseeing the financial compliance, risk management, and systems of internal control for the Bibby Leasing business, ensuring that they are proportionate, robust and meet guidelines expected by external regulations and internal audit
- Managing VAT, ensuring returns are accurate and we are compliant to HMRC rules
- Controlling costs for the Leasing business through the support in the preparation of budgets including Financial and Sales
- Effectively managing the Leasing finance team through appropriate resourcing, selection, succession planning and retention plans
- Promoting and supporting the continuous training and development, and PDPs for all individuals
- Supporting the team the team to maintain and uphold the highest standards of service through consistent management and demonstrable action along with coaching and monitoring strategic initiatives

**What we are looking for in our ideal Head of Finance (Leasing)**:

- A fully qualified accountant with demonstrable PQE
- Financial Services experience, ideally within an Asset Finance setting
- Experience with system migrations and implementation
- Experience of managing change, with a strong finance systems background
- Evidence of taking ownership and adding value in complex and demanding situations, with flexibility and dynamism
- Strong interpersonal skills; experience of influencing outcomes and challenging senior management objectively, whilst managing effective stakeholder relationships
- Well-developed reporting and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
- The ability to proactively work to tight deadlines and flex work schedules accordingly
- Proven experience in building teams and helping others reach their potential
- Fully qualified accountant with demonstrable PQE
