Here at Somerset Bridge Group, we are looking for experienced Claims Handlers who are ready to take on a new challenge and grow their skillset within our Personal Injury team. We are now offering the opportunity for individuals to undergo full training and development with no prior PI experience required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Investigate and proactively manage your own caseload of personal injury claims.
- Provide excellent customer service and negotiate with insurers and solicitors on quantum and liability.
- Achieve cost efficient conclusions.
- Ability to identify any potential fraud by using the fraud indicators.
- Build strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Previous experience in handling motor claims.
- Experience in handling PI Claims is desirable but not essential.
- Be prepared to undertake a Personal Development Plan in all aspects of PI Claims Handling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good understanding of indemnity and liability arguments.
- Ability to work proactively and to tight deadlines and to take ownership for your own work.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of Credit Hire.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise your workload.
- Basic knowledge of court procedures.
