**Stock Administrator**

Summit Chairs Ltd are looking for a bright and enthusiastic new member of the stock team. The Stock Administrator role is based in our Trowbridge office and is a full time permanent position.

We require a Stock Administrator manages the stock required for the business. The role includes monitoring stock, stock ordering, returns management and order intake.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Managing stock levels of materials and supplies, ensuring that there is an adequate supply.
- Reviewing & raising purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurately describe the item being purchased and the price being paid for it.
- Measuring and analysing stock efficiencies and regularly reporting to Head of Operations.
- Maintaining and improving product, supplier and market knowledge.
- Identifying and resolving issues whilst liaising with suppliers.
- Developing and maintaining supplier relationships & monitoring supplier performance.
- Using and maintaining a stock system to monitor progress of orders.
- Processing order intake.
- Processing returns.
- General stock administration duties.
- Maths/ English GCSE pass qualification.
- Min 1 years’ experience in stock management, within manufacturing sector would be desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and demands in a pressurised work environment.
- An adaptable and supportive team player with the ability to work with a wide variety of people
- Good written and oral communication as well as interpersonal skills
- ERP systems experience
- Calm and considered under pressure.
- Hands on interactive approach
