Role: Works Supervisor

Location: Cardiff

ABOUT THE ROLE
- The Workshop supervisor who's direct report to the engineering manager. Is responsible for the workshop H&S, managing the work from start to completion, controlling the working progress and giving daily updates to the engineering manager. They will be responsible for the implementation of quality systems and standards of the workshop. They will also ensure continuous improvements In, people, process and plant in the workshop.
- Main Product - AC/DC motor repairs and coil manufacture gearboxes AND pumps.
- Technical understanding of manufacturing within the engineering industry.
- Strong background in all aspect of service delivery.
- Strong understanding of service metrics and a proven track record of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrable experience in H&S.
- Understanding of operational requirements / constraints.
- Plans activities and projects well in advance and takes account of possible changing circumstances.
- Applies specialist and detailed technical knowledge.
- Sets and develops strategies.
- Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people.

Working Hours:
Mon - Fri: 7.30am - 3.30pm

Weekly hours: 37.5

Breaks: 30 min
