Office based: Kent
Remuneration: £30,000 - £32,000neg + bonus giving OTE circa £38,000 - £42,000

The role of Business Development Manager - Cycling Street Furniture & Structures will involve:
- Office based business development manager position selling a high quality range of cycling storage solutions / parking and street furniture, with a higher focus on the cycle parking product range
- All of your time will be spent selling to contractors
- For a range of project sectors for example: residential, education, health care and retail
- Your time will be split evenly with 50% of your time bringing on new business and the remaining 50% spent dealing with existing accounts that you’ll inherit
- Managing projects and sales processes from start right through to completion
- Dealing with and responding to customer enquiries, providing articulate technical advice
- Liaising with clients consistently throughout the process of the sale/project
- You will be targeted on sales intake, amount of new business accumulated and also margin
- Order values can range from £100 up to £200k+
- Full product training can be provided
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Cycling Street Furniture & Structures with:
- Must have sales experience within the construction industry and understand the sales processes involved
- Experience of selling street furniture & structures such as: bike racks, bike stands, cycle hubs, canopies, shelters, walkways, bollards, benches, decking, bridges, planters, climbing structures or related products is beneficial but not essential
- Must have a proactive approach to sales with a hunter mentality for new business
- Strong business and customer relations development skills
- Committed, determined and hungry to succeed
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Wants to grow and progress within the company
- Computer literate
