**MARKETING ASSISTANT**

**Full time or part time / Hybrid Working / Permanent / Monday - Friday / up to £22k FTE**

At the HTA, we support our member businesses (garden centres, DIY chains, Chelsea award winning landscapers and trade suppliers) through our products and services. The marketing team is responsible for understanding and segmenting our customer base and for planning and executing the B2B and consumer campaigns based on this knowledge.

The marketing assistant is a key role within our busy marketing team, where you will be the first point of contact for marketing enquiries. You will be supporting the team to execute activities and campaigns aimed at our membership and monitoring the success of these to enable the team to identify opportunities for growth. You will be expected to develop a keen understanding of our target audience to ensure the different campaigns are successful and marketed appropriately.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

- Be an effective communicator
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task

The HTA operates a hybrid office environment so we expect applicants to live within a commutable distance of OX11 0RN and to be able to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Whilst this role is advertised as full time, we are open to part time applicants, with the minimum working hours being 25 per week.

**About HTA**

2020 created new gardeners and the HTA campaign to ensure garden centres were classed as essential retailers throughout the COVID-19 restrictions has increased the profile of the horticultural industry.

The HTA have 1500 members which include garden retailers, growers, landscapers and suppliers to the garden industry. As one of the largest membership organisations the HTA have run the National Garden Gift scheme since 1962, this provides consumers with a UK wide scheme encouraging both new and existing gardeners to visit garden centres and retail nurseries.

The HTA lobby and campaign on behalf of our members within the horticulture industry and provide a whole range of member services including, business solutions, events, market information and learning & development.
