**Job Title**: Virtual Production Lead
**Location**: Mostly on set at studios or at our London office. WFH when not required on location.

**Direct Reports**: Jnr Unreal TA/TD’s on a project basis
**Working closely with**: CTO, Supervisors, HoP, Talent Team, New Business, IT Manager, LA counterparts

**Job Summary**
The role will work on-set to deliver and oversee complex technical shoots including technical previs, techvis, motion control and other on-set support to clients and other film units. As a Lead, the position will also be assisting in the long term growth and direction for the VP developments.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and train the junior Vprod team, identifying the critical roles that will enable growth
- Work with the LA team to collaborate and standardized tools and methodologies
- Work as an SME for Virtual Production, on-set technical work and Real-Time/Unreal workflows, working with production and clients to identify needs and solutions
- Work as a technical lead on Unreal & Virtual Productions shows, potentially interfacing with clients, and leading TD/TAs to support and implement solutions depending on show needs
- Collaborate and sometimes lead in the design and implementation of Virtual Production solutions including Virtual Camera
- To operate and run the Virtual Camera on-set and remotely with clients and teams
- Work with Supervisors and Artists supporting them with their specific show requirements
- Grow relationships with other Virtual Production collaborators in the UK & EU
- Represent TTFL at conferences and be able to speak to audiences about the advantages of Virtual Production
- To lead and support technically challenging productions and sequences with on-set team/clients
- Provide on-set live camera tracking and compositing & techvis
- Set up and lead Motion Capture shoots
- To resolve complex Technical Visualisation (techvis) needs

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience running Virtual Camera sessions with clients
- Experience with Motion Capture Systems, optical and inertia
- Experience working with Ncam and Simulcam
- Experience with solving for on-set motion control work
- Experience with Unreal workflows
- Python scripting
- Motionbuilder experience a plus
- Experience with VR/AR a plus
- Understanding and experience with Game Engine technology
