Due to our continued success we’re looking for a Spray Booth Operative to join our team.
**Position**:
As Spray Booth Operative you’ll take accountability for the day to day operation of our powder booth. You’ll ensure the effective and accurate operation of the plant from setting up and monitoring the booth, actioning colour changes, completing quality checks to minimise waste and completing the activity logs (we mean paperwork).
**What does it involve?**
As Spray Booth Operative you’ll lead and co-ordinate all of the activity within the booth including:
- End to end set-up and monitor the spray booth including colour changes.
- Analysing technical and or quality problems with the process and or product and working proactively to solve them.
- Scheduling work to maximise productivity and achieve quality requirements.
- Completing paperwork / records.
- Stock control for the booth.

**What will you need to know**
As Spray Booth Operative you’ll be working on vertical paint line (and there aren’t many of those around) so we’ll make sure you’ll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role. Of course if you have previous experience and practical understanding of a powder booth, the control panel and associated powder handling / recycling system that’s a bonus. As a minimum we’re looking for you to demonstrate your:
- Ability to follow standard operation and quality work instructions.
- Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Self‐motivated proactive approach to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
**Other information**:
Salary - up to £25,700 depending on experience
Work Pattern - 40 hours alternating shift (06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00)
