**As a TradeChoice Transport Supervisor, you will**:

- Carry out/support pre-brief & debriefs at the start and end of shift.
- Manage driver performance to achieve excellent customer service, ensuring high satisfaction and delivery accuracy.
- Ensure product returns procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all relevant information is recorded for transport KPIs.
- Liaise with the Transport Manager to plan inbound trunking.
- Liaise with the Branch team to resolve any customer issues.
- Arrange (or assist with arranging) service and maintenance of vehicles in line with legal requirements.
- Support in managing and monitor driver hours in line with DVSA/working time directive.
- Assist in managing transport documentation in line with relevant legislation, and in preparation for transport audits.
- Investigate driver incident reports, undertaking investigations when required.
- Attend daily & weekly teams meetings to discuss performance, plans & targets for the branch transport plan
- Promote health and safety, leading by example.

**Your working pattern**:

- Monday to Friday
- 6:30am to 3pm
- 30-minute Break

**You**:

- Experience of performance management and development.
- Basic knowledge of risk assessment/H&S principles.
- Competent in technology, systems and databases (desirable).
- Experience Supply Chain systems (e.g. Descartes) (desirable).
- Good leadership and organisation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable lifting, moving and carrying items up to approx. 25kg
- Able to delegate workload (desirable)
- Reach/Counterbalance FLT Licence (desirable)

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
